Pounce never posts without you

The rule
Pounce has one non-negotiable safety rule: it never writes something and publishes it on its own. Every word that goes out under your name is a word you read and approved first, with no exceptions.
For replies, approving and publishing are the same moment. Pounce finds the conversations, drafts the reply, and gets everything ready, but the action that actually posts always happens in the X or Reddit interface, pressed by you.
This is deliberate. Auto-posting tools get accounts flagged, and worse, they post things their owners would never say.
How it works on X
When you hit Reply in Pounce, X’s own compose window opens with your reply already attached to the right post. You press Post there, in X’s interface, logged in as yourself. Pounce then records the reply in your Log so your history and stats stay complete.
Using the X app on Android?
The X Android app handles compose links differently, so Pounce uses a quick copy-and-paste flow there instead. See replying from Android for exactly how it works.How it works on Reddit
Reddit does not offer a prefilled composer, so Pounce copies your finished reply to the clipboard and opens the post. You paste and submit in Reddit’s interface. If you have the Pounce browser extension installed, it can handle that last step for you in your own logged-in browser tab, still entirely on your machine and your session.
Posts from your queue
Tweet Ideas is the one place where approving and publishing happen at different moments, and it still starts with your approval. Pounce distills your best replies into original post ideas, you edit and approve the ones you want, and only those go out, at a time you chose in your posting settings.
An approved post can be published while you are away from your computer. That is the whole point of a queue, and it is still text you signed off on word for word. Remove something from the queue and it will not be posted. See Tweet Ideas and your posting queue for how the schedule works.
What connecting an account allows
You connect X and Reddit through each platform’s official sign-in. Pounce never sees your password, and you can revoke access at any time from the platform’s settings. The connection lets Pounce read posts, and, only when you explicitly tap the buttons, perform small actions like liking a post or following an author after you reply.
If you ever want to double-check what went out, your Log shows every reply you have sent through Pounce, with a link to the live post.
